Welcome to the Rare Monstera Archive, a personal document and blog devoted to all of the amazing Monsteras that I have been fortunate to collect over the past several years.
Many folks have asked me for more information on various sports. Since there aren’t any up-to-date nor in-depth resources available specifically tailored to all of the variegated and morphological mutation sports, I set out to develop this website as a resource for those interested in learning more about the many mutations that exist. Many of these are unofficial, unregistered cultivars that have become quite popular over the years, and I will do my best to shed some knowledge from personal growing and what I’ve discovered through communication with fellow growers throughout the community.
I hope anyone who visits this site will leave with a greater appreciation for Monstera and discover the joy in growing and cultivating these amazing plants. More will be added as new sports become available, time permitting. Thank you for visiting! - Joshua Sia
